Crew from Greenwich Hospital helps repair home of Vietnam vet

More than 20 Greenwich Hospital workers arrived collectively a short while ago to support with a residence resolve-up for a Vietnam veteran who is battling brain most cancers, thanks to House of Heroes Connecticut.

John McGovern, a U.S. Army beat vet who lives in Stamford, was the beneficiary of the no-price tag household repairs.

“It was an honor to assist a veteran and his family in this kind of a meaningful way,” stated Susan Cavanaugh, who helped coordinate the hospital’s volunteer hard work.
