This Flower Mound home has a basketball court, wine cellar and outdoor entertaining spaces

This home has lake access, abundant outdoor entertaining spaces, a pool and an upstairs patio with a sprawling view.

Located on a 2.08-acre lot in Flower Mound, the house is massive. It has 14,360 square feet of space with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. Amenities include a basketball court, a wine cellar, an elevator, guest quarters, two outdoor kitchens and more.

Listing agent Jim Striegel of JPAR Flower Mound said the home has Italian influences including front doors brought from Italy. The home has abundant detail throughout. Beams along the ceiling in the kitchen are hand-painted, Striegel said, and there’s a Murano glass chandelier. There are also hand-painted murals throughout the house.

“Not very many people put crystal chandeliers in the kitchen,” Striegel said.

The home was built in 2010 and is part of The Landing on Lake Grapevine community. An aerial view of the home at 1904 Bayshore Drive shows the property’s proximity to the lake.

On the main level of the home, you’ll find the kitchen, breakfast room, two living rooms, the dining room and a library or office, according to the listing. The lowest level of the home has a wine cellar and a nearby entertaining area. The home has a hand-carved marble fireplace, woodwork throughout and a hand-carved vent hood over the AGA cooktop and range, according to information provided by the listing agents. The guest suite or “mother-in-law suite” is on the first level, according to the listing.

The home’s remaining four bedrooms are on the second level. The primary suite has an expansive bedroom, “his-and-her” bathrooms and two walk-in closets. There’s also a living space, an entertainment area and a gym.

The home has multiple patios for outdoor entertaining, including one on the third level where Striegel says you can see the Dallas skyline on a clear day. Up a few more stairs, there’s a bonus space on what could be considered the fourth level of the home, said co-listing agent Vanessa Brandt. There are two outdoor cooking areas, one near the pool and another one closer to the house. The property also has a cabana and a pool house, according to the listing.

The home is on the market for $11,900,000 and is co-listed by Jim Striegel and Vanessa Brandt of JPAR Flower Mound.
